Specially tuned for golf, the FJ Stratos golf shoes range will give you an ultra-cushioned underfoot ride, through the recently developed StratoFoam midsole. This is a proprietary foam blend, designed to provide optimal comfort and support for everything that's involved in a round of golf. StratoFoam helps to absorb shock and to ease the strain put on your feet whilst on-course, by delivering high-level energy returns. It’s not often you find a golf-specific shoe, with a classic aesthetic, that provides optimum support and the incredible comfort of a trainer style golf shoe.
The Stratos models also have a brand new spikeless outsole, which has been engineered for un-compromised traction in every lie and course condition that a game of golf can throw at you. Although the sole unit has the appearance of a spikeless shoe, the VersaTrax+ outsole will maintain performance in slippy conditions, equal to a spiked alternative. By using multiple strength TPU compounds designed to grip different surfaces, the Stratos really should head up the all-in-one versatile golf shoe market.
FJ have used a proprietary tanning process to produce an incredibly soft premium leather upper, that really gives the Stratos golf shoes a high-end look and feel. The athletic-fit construction has been paired with an integrated tongue and a reinforced heal for a locked in fit. Lane Last technology across the forefoot allows for a generous fit, which can then be adjusted as required through the laces. FootJoy have opted for pin-badge FJ branding to give a luxurious and subtle finish to this quality shoe. The Stratos has been designed and built without compromise.
