The Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour Shield is a golf shoe inspired by a running shoe and has been ‘Engineered to the exact specifications of Championship golfers’. With Brooks Koepka heavily involved in the design process, Nike Golf have produced a golf shoe that delivers unrivalled comfort and response.
Now with winter golf and wet feet an almost certain prospect, Nike Golf have upgraded this product into a fully waterproof boot style golf shoe. The higher silhouette will sit perfectly underneath waterproof trousers so water beads off the outside of your shoe instead of down the inside, preventing you from getting wet feet.
The bungee closure system replaces laces for ease of use during the cold months and also improves waterproofing by being seam tight. Shield technology is used throughout the upper, where a thin waterproof overlay keeps the water out and also allows mud to be easily wiped off. A rubberised mudguard around the lower part of the shoe further protects from the elements. For the all year round golfer this will definitely give some serious satisfaction.
Two zippers at either side of the boot combined with the bungee closure system provide a locked in fit, with support and comfort around the ankle. That being said, expect a snug fit with these shoes and consider it may be worth taking half a size up, especially if you wear thick socks for winter golf. Aesthetically, this winterised shoe has a clean and sleek look in comparison to other brands winter shoes, and we love the simplicity of the and white colour way, featuring a hint of orange.
The Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour Shield is finished with the React midsole cushioning, piston spikes for stability, and a full length Zoom Strobel airbag unit stitched into the upper to add extra bounce to each step.
